New dates for Concausa 2019

November 15, 2019 In News

Santiago de Chile, 15 November 2019 - Over the last few weeks, Chile has become the scene of a series of social demonstrations led by multiple and diverse sectors of the population, which have inevitably generated a climate of institutional instability and uncertainty in the country.

Because of this, the executive team of the Concausa program - a youth meeting organized by ECLAC, UNICEF and América Solidariawith the collaboration of the Caserta Foundation and the sponsorship of the Pedro de Valdivia Pre-University School - decided to postpone the 2019 edition of its formation week and World Fair, which would take place between the 20th and 25th of November in Santiago,as well as the presentation of the 17 selected projects at the ECLAC headquarters, which was scheduled for the 26th of the same month.

The organized events, which seek to learn about and promote proposals for social and environmental innovation that American teenagers are developing in their communities, will finally be held from the 6th to the 11th of March 2020, following the same guidelines.

Concausa is an initiative committed to providing spaces to promote sustainable development projects of young people in the continent. For this reason, it is convinced that this postponement will not affect the realization nor the final objective of the event.
