Project description:

In Croix des Bouquet, exactly in Lillavois, Haití there are poor families with places to cultivate, but they don’t have the knowledge to do it. We propose to generate in the community of Lillavois and through the San Carlos Borromeo School, a project of family and community gardens with agro-ecologic bases, where training on agro-ecological production can be provided to the families and they be empowered with this knowledge to replicate it in the community. Thereby we seek that the participating families achieve food security and autonomy from their family gardens, to help reduce hunger and malnutrition in the community.
