Project description:


The Project “Girls helping girls” from the Quetzaltenango department of Guatemala, support girl mothers that suffered violence through jewelry, self-esteem, self-care, and personal growth workshop. It gives girl mothers tools to seek equal opportunities, a personal start-up, look for reintegration places as girls with rights to support their integrated development. The initiative is based on an investigation with target groups of the place and begins to take action where the population is sensitized through the campaign “Cuéntalo” to prevent violence; with this project they contribute to the SDG 2030, goal 5. that seeks gender equality and women empowerment, goal 10. that impulse social, economic, and politic inclusion, and goal 16. to put an end to abuse, exploitation, human trafficking, torture, and all forms of violence against girls.
