Project description:

The project A New Generation consists of empowering and training children and young people from the most vulnerable communities in El Salvador with the aim of turning them into agents of change in their communities, in order to transform the environments of violence, insecurity and inequality in which they live. Our main themes are the SDGs and Human Rights with a focus on the culture of peace. Phase 1: Train and empower these children and youth with the SDGs, specifically quality education, gender equality and peace, justice and strong institutions in their communities. Phase 2: To contribute to the formation of capacities that allow for a greater degree of resilience through a culture of peace, children and adolescents will be taught break dance and music as an outlet to express their feelings and emotions so that they can challenge their environments. Phase 3: Empower the parents of these children on all issues already raised.
